1. How much will my project cost?

Once a writer has been selected for your project, we can provide you with a general cost estimate. All of our projects are managed by one of Essential Data’s Engagement Managers at no extra cost to the client, which helps ensure that the project meets your cost expectations. As the project progresses, the Engagement Manager can provide estimates of remaining costs.

2. What do I do if I don’t have any of the required information to complete my project?

Our writers are accustomed to dealing with a lack of written information and are experts at developing written documents from external research, interviews with SMEs, site visits, supplier/vendor literature, or software access (in the case of software products), etcetera.

3. I can’t spare very much SME time, can Essential Data still help?

SME time is considered a valuable resource in any technical writing project, and thus it is very important for writers to utilize their time together wisely. Since SMEs can be extremely limited in resources, the writer will supplement gaps in information with external research and then confirm or correct assumptions with SMEs. In order to maximize the effectiveness of meetings, writers prepare their questions in advance and concentrate on information that can’t be obtained in other ways.
